DATA PACKAGE

Users can define different templates for a Data Package and then proceed to select one or more Data Packages to create a PDF package. It is possible to create multiple templates for the same page.

NOTE: Data Package Template can be created for both Styles and Materials.

After creating a Data Package Template, users can drill into a template and select one or more Data Sheets to be included,define the phase from which to pull the Data sheets, and re-order the Data Sheets before output.

Create a new Data Package template

  1. Navigate to Home > Specification > Templates > Data Package tab.

  2. Mouse-over Actions and select New Data Package Template.

  3. In the New Data Package Template dialog box, enter the details and click on Save.

  4. The Include Cover Sheet check box is selected by default to include a cover sheet. De-select the check box to exclude the cover sheet.

  5. The following attributes are displayed in the default view:

           

To create one or more Cover Sheet Views, click on a Data Package template. Navigate

to the Cover Sheet tab and create a view. Views created on this tab are displayed

in the drop-down list for the Cover Sheet View attribute.

 

User can also update details in the Data Package Template table.

NOTE: The editable fields are indicated with a grey triangle displayed in the right-hand bottom corner of the cell.

Users can click on a template to view the properties of the Data Package.

Users can also create Size Chart, Spec Data Sheet, and Style BOM templates in the respective sub-tabs.
