Users can create a list of Country wise Shipping Ports, based on those created in the Country tab. When users define Customers, users can select from these Shipping Ports values to specify the Customer Ship To address.
Prior to creating one or more Shipping Port, it is necessary to create one or more Countries on the Home > Sourcing > Setup > Country tab.
Create a new Shipping Port
Navigate to Home > Sourcing > Setup > Shipping Port tab.
In the Shipping Port column, mouse-over Actions and select New Shipping Port.
A new row will be created in the Shipping Port table. Enter required details in the table.
The Active check box corresponding to the new Shipping Port is selected by default indicating that it is active and available for use within the Centric 8 application. To render this Shipping Port inactive, de-select the check box.
