QUESTIONS

Users can edit the details of the Questions in this tab. The Questions listed in the table on this tab can be created on the Home > Sourcing Setup > Factory Reviews Setup > Question Subsection tab.

Edit the Question details

  1. Navigate to Home >  Sourcing > Setup > Factory Reviews Setup > Questions tab.

  2. In the Question column, click on a Question to view the properties.

  3. In the Properties section, edit the details for any of the attributes.

         

It is possible to edit details in the Properties section and the Sub-Question section only when the Question is in the DRAFT State.

  1. To add one or more sub-questions to the Question,

    1. In the Sub-Questions section, in the Sub-Question column mouse-over on Actions and select New Sub-Question.

    2. Enter details in the New Sub-Question dialog box and click on Save.

    3. The sub-question will be saved and displayed in the table.

  1. To approve the changes, from the Actions drop-down list, select Approve.

  2. To close the Question, from the Actions drop-down list, select Close.

  3. Once approved or closed, most attributes in the Properties section and the Sub-Questions sections will become non-editable.

  4. To edit the attributes, create a revision of the Question. To create a revision of the Question, from the Actions drop-down select Revise. A copy of the Question is created and displayed in the table with editable attributes. Follow steps 3-6 to add more Questions.

         

Only those attributes that pertain to Questions in the Draft state will be editable in the table.

  1. The following attributes are displayed in the default view

NOTE: This attribute is editable  only when a Question is in the Draft state.

  1. Navigate back to the Questions tab. From the Actions drop-down, select Approve to approve the Question.
 IMPORTANT
         

Once Approved, the attributes associated with Questions tab and Documents tab cannot be edited. To edit the attributes, you need to created a revision of the Question and change the state to the Draft state.
