PLACEMENT

Define material placement headings for selection in the Bill of Materials (BOM) as well as the Test Run TDS if users are using Quality Testing. If users define placement in the Placement tab, they can select from these items in a drop-down menu when creating a BOM, and if no placement items are defined, the users can manually enter placement on the BOM.

Create a New Placement

1. Navigate to Home > Material > Placement

2. To create a new Placement, mouse-over Actions and select New Placement Name..  

   

3. In the New Placement Name dialog box, enter the Placement name and click on Save

   

4. The newly created Placement Name will be displayed in the Placement table.

   

NOTE: If language has been defined in the Home > Material > Language tab, user can specify the appropriate translation for the Placement name in each language column.
