CREATE STYLE AND MATERIAL SAMPLES

What is Sample?

A textile sample is a piece of cloth or fabric designed to represent a larger whole. A small sample, usually taken from existing fabric, is often called a swatch.

Create Style Sample

  1. Navigate to Home > Style > Styles tab.

  2. Select the required Style for which sample is to be created from the Style column.

  3. Navigate to Style > Samples tab. Mouse-over Actions and select New Style Sample..

  4. The New Style Sample dialog box is displayed. Enter the required details and  click on Save.

NOTE1: Mandatory fields are indicated with a (*).

NOTE2: Due to the large number of sizes that can exist in a two-dimensional size range, the Sample create form now allows users to multi-select values for the Colors/Sizes field. On selecting Colors and Sizes, unique combination of Samples are created.

  1. The new Style Sample is displayed in the Samples table.

  2. Users can view all the Style Samples created throughout Centric 8 on Home > Style > Style Samples tab.

Create Material Sample

  1. Navigate to Home > Material > Material Samples tab.

  2. In the Material column, mouse-over Actions and select New Material Sample.

  3. In the New Material Sample dialog box, enter the required details and click on Save.

NOTE: Mandatory fields are indicated with a (*).

  1. The new Material Sample is created and displayed in the table. To view the properties of the material samples., click on a material sample name in the Material Samples column.
