COLOR SPECIFICATION

Users can create on or more  Color Specifications for Material, Style, Themes on this tab. When creating Colorway or Colored Material, users can assign a Color Specification to it.

Application of Color Specification in Centric 8

Users can use the created Color Specification in Colorways, Colored Material,  Theme, Material, Style, etc.

Create a New Color Specification

1. Navigate to Home > Specification > Color Specification tab.

2. In the Image column, mouse-over Actions and select New Color Specification...

   

3. A new row is created in the table. Enter a name for the new color specification. (See here)

   

4. The following attributes are displayed in the Default View:

• Color Specification: This column lists all the existing Color Specification.

• Code: Unique code for the color specification

• Description: A brief description of the color is displayed

• Pantone: The corresponding pantone color

• Pantone TC: This column lists the Pantone TC for the particular color specification

• Tags: Description of the tag

• Image: Image assigned for the season

• Active: If the corresponding check box is selected, it indicates that the said color specification is available and visible throughout the application

• Actions: This column consists of icons that allow actions such as Add, Edit, Delete, Merge etc.

Merge Color Specifications

1. Navigate to Specification > Color Specification.

2. De-select the Active check box corresponding to the selected Color Specifications to make selected Color Specifications inactive and unavailable.

3. In the Actions column, click on the Merge other Color Specifications to this node icon, to replace other Color Specifications with this node. The Merge other Color Specification to this node dialog box is displayed.

   

4. Select the Color Specifications user want to replace and click on Save. User can select multiple colors to be replaced.

   

5. Once saved all the selected Color Specifications will be replaced by the node throughout the application.

6. The replaced Color Specifications will become inactive by default.

   

7. Click on the Active check box to activate the Color Specifications once again and make it available.

The Color Specification defined on this tab are used at the time of creating one or more Colorways.
