BRAND

A name given to a particular product, service or concept is called Brand Name. It is a process of creating and marketing the Brand name to the public. Brand name may be applied to an entire corporate or to an individual product and services. A trademark or service mark is provided by an authorised agency usually government agency to protect the Brand from others. A brand is a distinguishing symbol, mark, logo, name, word, sentence or a combination of these items that companies use to separate their product from others in the market.

Create a New Brand

Navigate to Home > Style > Seasons. Click on a Season to view the Hierarchy tab.
In the Brands table, mouse-over Actions and select New Brand
In the New Brand dialog box, enter the Brand name, Code, Description and click on Save

NOTE1: Fields marked with (*) are mandatory fields

If you have created one or more hierarchy item templates, then the New Brand dialog box will display the Templates field which is a mandatory field. All the other fields will be rendered non-editable and display necessary values corresponding to the selected template.

The new brand is displayed in the table on the Season tab. Users can now create one or more Departments for the Brand.
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:

Brand: This column lists all the existing Brand.
Code: Unique Code for the Brand
Description: A brief description of the Brand is displayed.
Number of Styles: The number of styles that exist for a particular Brand.
Image: Image assigned for the Brand
Actions: This Column has icons to edit and delete Brand

Create a New Brand from an existing Brand

Navigate to Home > Style > Seasons. Click on a Season to view the Hierarchy tab.
In the Brands table, mouse-over Actions and select New from Brand
In the New from Brand dialog box, select the Brands by selecting the check box corresponding to the required Brands. Click on Save.
In the New from Brand dialog box, enter the Brand name, Code, Description and click on Save.
