LOG FILES

Centric 8 Adobe Illustrator Extension work together with Centric 8 to deliver the integration with Adobe Illustrator. The Illustrator Extension have log files consolidated at a single location that may be useful to a support technician during troubleshooting.

Locating the Log Files

1. Users can access all the PLM Connect Log Files in a single location. Open any browser and navigate to the following URL:
   
   http://localhost:8080/api/logs

2. The log files will be displayed in the browser.

   

3. Alternatively, log files are also available in the following locations:

1. Agent Logs:
   This log records the activities of local agent log service.

• C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\CentricSoftware\Centric_Adobe_PLM_Connect\c8-local-agent\logs\local-agent.log

2. Flex Extension Logs:
   Flex Extension log files record all details, information logs and error logs for the extension.

• .C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\CentricSoftware\Centric_Adobe_PLM_Connect\illustrator-flex-extension

3. URI Handler Log:
   Direct Edit related logs are available at the following location:

• C:\Users\<myusername>\AppData\Roaming\CentricSoftware\Centric_Adobe_PLM_Connect\c8-local-agent\logs\client_uri_handler.log.
