The Image Intents tab in HTML 5 has the following two sections:
On selecting an image, the artboard and visible layers fields are enabled in the upper pane.
To determine how images are extracted from the Illustrator file and used in Centric 8
From the drop-down list, select Image Intents.
The Image Intents tab displays all the currently defined Image Intents.
To select an Artboard, Layers and Design Intent for the product, click on the Add button.
The Generate a new image dialog box is displayed allowing users to generate a new Image Intent.
From the Artboard list, select an artboard to begin defining an image intent.
The Generate a new image dialog box is displayed allowing users to generate a new Image Intent.
To select Layers that should be visible for the image, click on the eye or visible icon corresponding to the required layer.
On the Labels tab, from the Add a label section, select a label for the image.
On the Colors tab, from the Add image to Product Color section, select one or more product color to which you wish to add the new image.
To create a new image intent, save the information and return to the list of defined image intents, click on Add.
To save the information and create a new image intent, click on Add and New.
NOTE
A variety of validation checks are performed. For example, only one Image Intent row can include the Default Image design intent.
To edit an image intent,
In the Image Intents panel, double-click on an image intent.
In the Generate a new image panel, make the required changes and click on the Edit button.
To delete an image intent, select an Image Intent and click on the Delete icon.
Finally, to update the document in Centric 8, in the Image Intents panel, click on Check In.
IMPORTANT
Image Intents are not reflected in Centric 8 until the document is Checked In.
