CONTEXT PROPERTIES - ILLUSTRATOR CC

Context Properties opens as a default panel when you Check Out a file in Illustrator.

The following information is displayed in the Panel:

1. Name of the file container. The location from where the Illustrator file was opened from or last saved is displayed in the About dialog box.

   

2. Select the Context Properties drop-down menu to view the information about the file and its context in Centric 8 PLM.
   
   Note: The Document Properties and Collection Properties are defined in Centric 8 on the Season hierarchy > Docs&Comments section and Properties section respectively.

   

3. To edit a subset of the displayed PLM information, click on the Edit icon.

4. To save the edits, click on the Submit button. Else, to cancel the edits click on the Cancel button. If Centric 8 has validation criteria (rules) about these attributes, an error message may be displayed. Correct entries as required and re-submit.
