AUTOMATIC IMAGE GENERATION USING CENTRIC IMAGE SERVICE
The Image Intents feature of the Adobe Illustrator Extension for Centric 8, provides much finer control over the generation of images from within Illustrator. This section also describes generation of images when Illustrator is not used.
Centric 8 has the ability to automatically generate Images from uploaded documents using the Centric Image Service. This capability exists for Documents added via the standard Centric 8 web client.
By default, images will be generated for Adobe Illustrator (.ai) and other file formats can be added through the Centric 8 dialogs. If there are multiple artboards in an uploaded .ai file, each artboard will result in a separate image.
Users with Administrator privileges, can monitor the progress of the Image Generation (also known as Document Processing) in the Centric 8 web client.
