ASSIGN IMAGE INTENTS FROM PRINT SPECIFICATION TO COLOR SPECIFICATIONS

Once color specifications have been defined, users can assign intents to them. Image intents support layers and artboards, which the user can select to designate the appropriate artwork.

To assign Image Intents

  1. From the Illustrator Extension Window, select Image Intents from the drop-down menu.

  2. From the Image Intents section, select the required Artboard to begin defining Image Intent. From the Color Specs section, select the required Color Specification for which the Image Intent has to be applied. From the Visible Layers section, select the Layers which should be visible for an Image. To add the image to the Color Specification, click on Add.

  3. Finally, to update the document in Centric 8, click on Check In. The changes from Illustrator will be reflected in Centric 8.

IMPORTANT

Image Intents are not reflected in Centric 8 until the document is checked in.
