In Illustrator, the Centric 8 panel (Windows > Extensions > Centric 8) consists of the following tabs:
Context Properties
Data about the design that is stored in Centric 8 PLM
Image Intents
Allows you to describe images to extract from your artwork for use
in PLM
Color Library
Enables you to add, edit and update one or more colors from Centric
8 Illustrator and vice-versa
BOM Builder
Allows you to create, edit and update Bill of Materials (BOM)
NOTE
BOM Builder feature is currently available only for Illustrator CS6 and CC (Original)
Color Specification
Allows you to add or create Color Specifications for Print Specifications
NOTE
This feature appears only when working with .ai files on Print Specifications
The Centric 8 panel behaves like any other panel in Illustrator. For example, it can be opened, closed, docked, or floated using the standard panel controls.
NOTE
Centric 8 panel opens as a default panel with login screen when you launch Illustrator.
