For each ${User.Name}, you can create a distinct login, display name, and password, and set the ${User.Name} as active or inactive. You can also add, modify, and delete ${User.Plural}. Once you create ${User.Plural}, you can add them to groups and assign security roles, manage user profiles and settings, and review assigned user groups, roles, security access, and user teams.

How to define ${User.Plural}

  1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${User.Name}.
  2. In the ${New} ${User.Name} dialog box, enter the details and click on ${Save}.
    • NOTE: The mandatory fields are indicated by a red star.
  3. The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:
    • User Login: The login details created for the user
    • Display Name: The display name for the user login
    • E-mail: The email details for the User
    • Active: Select the checkbox corresponding to a User, to render the User active and available in the Centric8 application
    • LDAP User: 
    • SSO User: To convert local user to SSO User, in the ${Actions} column, click on the Convert User to SSO User icon. If the User is specified as an SSO User, then in the ${Actions} column, click on the Convert SSO User to local User
    • Event Calendar Enabled: Select the checkbox corresponding to the required User Login to enable the Event Calendar for the user
    • Owner: 
    • Home Supplier: From the drop-down list, select a home supplier. One or more Suppliers can be defined on the Home > Sourcing Supplier tab.
    • Action: To execute the icons in the ${Actions} column, refer Generic Features.

The following attributes can be used to change the delegation to another user. Changing the delegation will result in the details being displayed in the Delegation to Me tab.

To manage roles for the selected ${User.Name}, click on the Manage ${User.Name} ${Role.Plural} icon.

For changes to be reflected within the C8 application , from the main menu bar, select Actions > Update Configuration.
