${User.Plural} can define one or more ${TestSpecSubtype.Plural} and specify whether or not this ${TestSpecSubtype.Plural} is active. 

Once defined and specified as Active, the ${TestSpecSubtype.Plural} can be viewed and selected at the time of creating a new Test Spec on the Home > Quality > Setup Test Specs tab.

How to define ${TestSpecSubtype.Plural}

1. In the Test Type column, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${TestSpecSubtype.Name}. 
2. In the ${New} ${TestSpecSubtype.Name} dialog box, enter the details and click on ${Save}.
3. Select the ${Active} checkbox corresponding to the required ${TestSpecSubtype.Name} to render it active.
4. From the main menu bar, select Actions > ${UpdateConfiguration}  to update configuration and make the ${TestSpecSubtype.Plural} available in the C8 application.

NOTE: On creating a new test type, before Update Configuration, the Delete icon is available in the ${Actions} column which allows Users to delete the test type if required. Once the Test Type attribute is defined as Active, on running the Update Configuration, the attribute is published in the application and the Published checkbox is selected and greyed out. The Delete action is no longer available.
