The Select Set tab allows ${User.Plural} to view the system defined Set Types and choose whether or not to render a particular Set Type as Active or Inactive.

NOTE: If a Set Type is specified as Active, then the selected Set Type will be displayed in the Subtype drop-down list on the Home > ${SelectSet.Plural} tab. 

If the Set Types are rendered  ${Active} on this tab, the ${SelectSet.Plural} can be viewed and used to define a Subset which can then be used to generate merged PDF Data Packages on the Home > ${SelectSet.Plural} tab. 

How to specify a Select Set Type as ${Active}

1. Select the ${Active} checkbox corresponding to a required ${SelectSetSubtype.Name} to render it active and make it available in the C8 Application.

To render an active Select Set as inactive, de-select the checkbox in the Active column, corresponding to the required Select Set.

NOTE: On making changes to a row in the Select Set Type table, the row is displayed in yellow. From the main menu bar, select Actions > Update Configuration to update the changes in Centric 8. Once the update configuration is completed, the row will be displayed in green.
