${EnumList.Plural} represent the items in drop-down lists throughout the C8 Application. For example, an Enumeration value defined for the ArtworkType Enumeration, can be displayed in the Subtype Enum column on the Artwork tab for a style.  Use this tab, to create, update, and manage items in the drop-down lists.

NOTE: This tab is available to ${User.Plural} with Administrator rights or Configuration Level users who have access to the Setup level tabs.

The Enumeration is created in the Enumeration table and one or more corresponding values for that Enumeration are created in the Enumeration value table.

The UI on this tab consists of two tables - Enumeration table at the top and the Enumeration Value table at the bottom. Selecting an Enumeration in the top table will display the value for that enumeration in the bottom value. Thus, the bottom table values will change depending on the Enumeration selected in the table at the top.

How to define an ${EnumList.Name}

  1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${EnumList.Name}
  2. In the ${New} ${EnumList.Name} dialog box, enter details for the following fields and click on ${Save}.

NOTE: The Depends on field is editable only for a Custom Enumeration. A custom enumeration can depend on another OTB or custom Enumeration. Such Enums are called Linked Enums.

How to define one or more values for an Enumeration

  1. From the Enumeration table, click on the required Enumeration.
  2. In the ${EnumValue.Name} table, click on the Insert ${New} ${EnumValue.Name} icon in the ${Actions} column. Else, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${EnumValue.Name}...
  3. In the ${New} ${EnumValue.Name} dialog box, enter the Enumeration value and description.

IMPORTANT: Deleting an Enumeration will delete all the values associated with that Enumeration.

IMPORTANT: If the Depends on field has been specified at the time of creating an Enumeration, then the Depends On and Depends on Selected columns are displayed for that Enumeration in the ${EnumValue.Name} table. The Enumeration values for that Enumeration on which the selected Enumeration depends, are displayed in the Depends on cell drop-down.

NOTE: If there are more ${EnumList.Plural} than the number of records given in the Results field, mouse over ${Actions} and click on More. The next set of ${EnumList.Plural} are displayed. If there are less number of ${EnumList.Plural} than the number of records given in the Results field, the More field will not be displayed.

If any changes are made to the existing Enumerations or if new Enumerations have been added, then from the main menu bar, select Actions > ${UpdateConfiguration}, for the changes to be updated and reflected within the C8 application.

Two-dimensional Size Configuration

The site administrator can define two-dimensional DimensionTypes  (Dimension Type 1; Dimension Type 2) required by the business. Once these types are defined and the configuration is updated, users can use these 2-D dimension types at the time of defining Sizes, Size Ranges and Size Chart dimensions.

NOTE: One pre-defined DimensionType(1) "Size" is available in C8.
