Using this tab, it is possible to define the Style Copy options for attribute-level copy behavior.

NOTE: This tab is available to ${User.Plural} with Administrator rights or Configuration Level users who have access to the Setup level tabs.

These options are used as follows:

  1. At the time of creating a new Style (in the Season hierarchy) from an existing style, on the Style tab and
  2. When specifying details on the Merchandising tab

At the time of creating a Style Copy Template, Users can specify attributes that can be:

  1. Copied automatically
  2. Copied optionally
  3. Not copied

NOTE: To add custom attributes to a Style Copy Template, define Style forms on the Style business object prior to creating Copy Templates.

After creating a Style Copy Template, users can modify the copy behavior for attributes in the Edit (Style Copy Template) dialog box.

IMPORTANT:To update templates and rebuild Forms when changes are made to a Form Definition, click on the Refresh link in the Actions column.

How to define ${Style.Name} Copy Template

  1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${Style.Name} Copy Options.
  2. In the ${New} ${Style.Name} Copy Options dialog box, enter the details and click on ${Save}.
     
    NOTE: To make this copy template available for the Merchandising tab, select the corresponding check box in the OK for Merchandising attribute column (this attribute is available in the Custom Views).

    3. In the 
     ${Actions} column, click on the Edit icon to view the Edit dialog box. Important fields in the Edit dialog box are:

NOTE: The copy options specified on this tab are displayed in the (Create) New Style From...dialog box at the time of creating a new style from an existing style.
 
IMPORTANT:The Revision Behavior specified in the Edit dialog box for the Data Sheets will be over ruled by the selection made in the Data Sheet Copy Options section.

SECTION: DATA SHEET COPY

The ${DataSheet.Name} Copy Options table displays all the ${DataSheet.Name} Copy Options for the available ${BusinessObject.Plural}.

  1. Check the Copy Behavior Locked check box, to lock the selected Copy Behavior option and make it a Read-only attribute.
  2. Click on Copy Behavior and select any one of the Copy Behavior options.

NOTE: For the changes to be reflected in the C8 application,

For changes to be reflected within the C8 application, from the main menu bar select Actions > Update Configuration. Initially,  the changes are displayed in yellow and after configuration update they are displayed in green.
