On this tab, you can define the Acceptance Limits to perform the final inspections. The Acceptance Limits is also called as Acceptance Quality Limit (AQL) with reference to the industry-wide standard ISO 2859-1. It is a pre-requisite for creating a Sampling Plan.

Using the AQL, the acceptance criteria is defined to pass or fail the inspection using the following parameters:

How to create a new Acceptance Limit

  1. From the Acceptance Limit column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Acceptance Limit. The New Acceptance Limit dialog box is displayed.
  2. In the New Acceptance Limit dialog box, enter an appropriate detail for the Acceptance Limit and Sort Order boxes, and then click on Save.

The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:

NOTE: The blank cell option initiates no action.

NOTE: The editable cells are displayed with a grey triangle in the lower-right corner of the cell.

NOTE: The commented fields are displayed with a red triangle in the upper-right corner of the cell.
