Shape is a new domain object to describe a reusable Style shape.
Master data is the same for all ${Season.Plural} while ${Season.Name}-specific data can be changed for a ${Season.Name}.
Using this tab, it is possible to create one or more Shapes.
How to create a new Shape
- In the Shape column, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} Shape.
- In the New Shape dialog box, enter a Shape name and select a Season from the drop-down list.
- To save the new shape details, click on ${Save}. The new shape is displayed in the Shape table. To view the properties of the new shape, click on the Shape.
The following fields are available in the Default View:
- Shape: This column lists all the Shapes created on this tab as well as the Shapes created using the Shape Masters tab.
- Seasons: The Seasons associated with the Shape are listed here. To edit the Seasons list and add or remove Seasons, click on the Edit icon in the ${Actions} column.
- Size Range: Select a size range from the drop-down list
- Shape Master: By default, at the time of creating a new Shape, the Shape Master is also created and titled "Unnamed". This field is editable. Edit details as required. To edit the details, either click on "Unnamed" or click anywhere within the cell and edit the details.
- All Seasons: At the time of creating a shape, if you do not select one or more Seasons to associate with the Shape, then the All Seasons checkbox is available for selection. Else, if one or more Seasons are selected at the time of creating a Shape, then this checkbox will be greyed out and not available.
IMPORTANT: In order to enable this feature, the Restrict Edits check box for the "All Seasons" attribute must be set to "FALSE", in the Edit Attributes dialog box (Setup > Business Objects > Attributes tab). - Image: Mouse-over anywhere within the cell and click on Browse Images. Select an image and click on Save. The selected image will be displayed as a thumbnail in the cell.
- Shape Security Group: From the drop-down list select a Shape Security Group to be associated with the Shape
- ${Actions}: The copy, edit and remove icons are displayed in the ${Actions} column.
TIP: The Shape details created on the Shape Masters tab are displayed here. The editable cells are indicated by a small grey triangle displayed in the right-hand top corner of the cell.
