On this tab, you can define the Sales Region Spec related details. The Sales Region > Country > Language hierarchy can be defined from this tab. A Style can be present with or without Sales Regions. The Sales Region selectors are available on several data sheets and the Supplier Request.
A Sales Region can have Secondary Sales Regions. This feature supports the business case where a product is labelled for more than one Sales Region.
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:
- Sales Region Spec: Displays the name of the Sales Region Spec, which can be edited/updated. Click on the Sales Region Spec name to view its properties, and the related Secondary Sales Regions and Selling Countries information.
- Active: If this check box is selected, then the respective Sales Region Spec is active, and vice versa.
- Selling Countries: Displays the names of the Countries, where the product is targeted for sale.
- Secondary Sales Regions: Displays the names of the applicable Secondary Sales Regions.
- Actions: This column provides the Edit, Copy, and Delete options to manage the Sales Region Specs. For detailed information about the icons displayed in this column, refer to Generic Features.
How to create a new Sales Region Spec
- From the Sales Region Spec column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Sales Region Spec. The New Sales Region Spec dialog box is displayed.
- In the New Sales Region Spec dialog box, enter details for the following fields:
- Sales Region Spec: Enter a name for the SalesRegionSpec.
- Active: This check box is selected by default. Clear this check box to make it as an inactive SalesRegion Spec.
- Selling Countries: From the drop-down list, select the check boxes corresponding to the applicable SellingCountries.
- Secondary Sales Regions: From the drop-down list, select the check boxes corresponding to the applicable SecondarySalesRegions.
- Click on Save.
NOTE: The editable fields are displayed with a grey triangle in the lower-right corner of the cell.
NOTE: The commented fields are displayed with a red triangle in the upper-right corner of the cell.
NOTE: The blank cell option initiates no action.
