On this tab, you can create Spec Data Sheets based on the ${SpecLibraryItem.Name} Type (Construction and Packaging).
You can create a New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} using one of the following options available in the Actions mouse-over:
- New ${SpecDataSheet.Name}
- New from existing ${SpecDataSheet.Name}
- New from Template
How to create a New ${SpecDataSheet.Name}
- In the ${SpecDataSheet.Name} column, mouse-over Actions... and select New ${SpecDataSheet.Name}.
- In the New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} dialog box, enter the details and click on Save.
NOTE1: The sub-type field drop-down list is derived from the Home > Specification > Spec Items tab, where you can create one or more Spec Items.
NOTE2: The State of the New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} is "Draft" by default. You can approve the New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} after which the State will change to "Approved".
How to create New from ${SpecDataSheet.Name}
- Mouse-over Actions and select on the New from ${SpecDataSheet.Name}.
- In the New from Spec Data Sheet dialog box, select one or more Spec Data Sheets based on which you wish to create a new ${SpecDataSheet.Name} and click on Save.
- Enter necessary details in the New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} dialog box. Enter the details and click on Save.
- The New ${SpecDataSheet.Name} is created and displayed in the table. For those cells that are editable (indicated by a grey triangle displayed at the right-hand bottom corner of the cell), you can edit/update details in the table.
- Icons for edit, view, copy, approve etc., are available in the Actions column of the table. For more information, refer Generic Features.
