Centric 8 allows you to define quality assurance tests to evaluate product quality and define performance and mechanical testing on a product to eliminate quality issues such as color fastness and lead levels. You can specify standards to which third party testing facilities must adhere. You can also use the Test Run technical data sheet (TDS) to track testing.
All Test Runs applied on Styles, Materials, Colorways, Colored Materials and Samples are displayed here.
You can update information in the table.
NOTE: The editable fields are indicated by a grey triangle displayed in the right-hand top corner of the cell.
To execute the icons in the Actions column refer Generic Features. Click the Save as Template icon in the Actions column to save the Test Run as a template.
The following are the attributes displayed in Default View.
- Test Run: Displays all the Test Runs applied on Styles, Material, Colorways,Colored Material and Samples.
- Code: Code for the particular Test Run.
- Description: A brief description of Test Runs.
- Approved Test Run Status: View the Approved status of Test Run.
- Latest State: Displays the latest status of the Test Run.
- Latest Number of Test: Number increases in sequential order each time the Test Run is revised.
- Product: Displays the Product Detail for which Test Run is initiated.
- Actions: This column consists of various icons that allow actions such as Merge color specification, Edit, Delete etc.
How to create a New ${TestRun.Name}
- In the Test Run column, mouse over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${TestRun.Name}.
- In the New Test Run dialog box, enter the details and click Next.
- In the New Test Run dialog box, select the ${TestSpec.Plural} for the ${TestSpec.Name} and click on Finish.
How to create New Test Run using New from ${TestRun.Name}
- In the Test Run column, mouse-over Actions and select New from Test Run option.
- In the New from Test Run dialog box, select the Test Run from the displayed list and click on ${Save}.
- Change the required details, in the New from Template dialog box and ${Save}.

- In the Test Run column, mouse-over Actions and select New from Test Run option.
- In the New from Test Run dialog box, select the Test Run from the displayed list and click on ${Save}.
- Change the required details, in the New from Template dialog box and ${Save}.
