You can view the Technical Data Sheet for the selected ${MaterialBOM.Name}. You can add the BOM details including dividers, new placements, copy placements from another BOM, add placements from ${Material.Plural}, or add special placements based on a selected ${Material.Name} type.

To create New of ${Material.Name}

In the Placement table, mouse over New and click on New of ${Material.Name} link in the Action pop-up box. Enter the details in the table.

To create New from ${Material.Name}

In the Placement table, mouse over New and click on New from ${Material.Name} link in the Action pop-up box. In the New from Material dialog box, select the materials and click on Save.

To create New from BOM

In the Placement table, mouse over New and click on New from BOM link in the Action pop-up box. In the New from BOM dialog box, select the ${MaterialBOM.Plural} from which to copy Placements and click on Next.  In the New from BOM page, select the Placements to be copied and click on Finish.  

To create New Divider

In the Placement table, mouse over New and click on New Divider link in the Action pop-up box. Enter the divider name to create a new sub section.

To create New Special

In the Placement table, mouse over New and click on New Special link in the Action pop-up box. In the New Special dialog box, enter the details and click on Save.

You can also update details in the table.

Note: The editable fields are indicated with a grey triangle in the corner of the cell.

To execute the icons in the Actions column refer Generic Features. Click on the ‘Unlink’ icon to unlink the Placement from the ${MaterialBOM.Name}. Alternatively, click on the ‘Relink’ icon to relink the Placement to the ${MaterialBOM.Name}. 
Click on ‘Update Unit Cost, UOM from Product’ icon to update the Unit Cost and Unit of Measurement. 
Click on the ‘Up’ and ‘Down’ arrow icons to move the position of the Placement.

To Track Placement

In the Tracking Placement table, mouse over New and click on Select Placements link in the Action pop-up box. In the Select Placement dialog box, select the Placements and click on Save.

To execute the icons in the Actions column refer Generic Features.

Click on New Comment link to add comments.
