Merchandising supports the merchandise planning processes for an organization.  Merchandising module allows users to configure their own hierarchy and comes with very few attributes since every organization usually has specific attributes they plan by as well as calculations for some of these attributes.

The Merchandising module provides for the following OOTB hierarchy:

Plan > Folder > MerchCollection > Product > Option


How to create a New ${MerchPlan.Name}

  1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${MerchPlan.Name}. In the ${New} ${MerchPlan.Name} dialog box, enter the details and click on ${Save}.
  2. Subtype  for a New Plan is defined by the Administrator on the Setup tab.
