Merchandising supports the merchandise planning processes for an organization.  Merchandising module allows users to configure their own hierarchy and comes with very few attributes since every organization usually has specific attributes they plan by as well as calculations for some of these attributes. In this page you can configure the ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name}.

To define a ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name}

1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name}. 
2. In the ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name} dialog box, enter the ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name} and click on ${Save}.
3. Check the ${Active} check box to make ${MerchCollectionSubtype.Name} active.
4. Click on the Children ${MerchProductSubtype.Plural} drop-down to select the ${MerchProduct.Name} that come under the ${MerchCollection.Name} level. You can select multiple options in this field.
   NOTE: The ${MerchProductSubtype.Plural} must be initially defined before they can be selected.
