This tab provides a view of all the properties associated with the selected ${Material.Name}.

For fields that are editable indicated by a grey triangle at the right-hand bottom corner of the cell, you can edit/update details.

IMPORTANT: Material Size Ranges and Sizes do not support 2-D sizes. For size ranges that are created as 2-D, the "OK for Material" option in the table of size ranges will be disabled. When creating sizes for a material, users will not be able to create 2-D sizes.
 
How to enter the Status details for the Material

  1. Select the Manage radio button.
  2. The Status field is displayed in the Properties section.
  3. Click anywhere in the Status text box and select one of the options from the drop-down view. You can select the define the Status of the ${Material.Name} as either Pending or Approved.

SECTION: COLORED MATERIALS

You can create one or more colored materials. You can also create a colored material from an existing color specification. The colored materials created here can be viewed on the  Home > Material > Colored Material tab.

  1. In the Colored Material column, click on Actions... and select New Colored Material.
  2. In the New Colored Material dialog box, if you select a Color Specification from the drop-down list, all the details of the selected Color Specification will be attached to the new Colored Material. Else, the details will be blank. Some of the fields are editable and you can edit/update details for these fields/attributes.
  3. The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:  
    • Colored Material: The name of the colored material, details of which can be edited/updated
    • Description: A brief description of the Colored Material, details of which are editable
    • Color Specification: The color specification details selected at the time of creating a new Colored Material. If this detail is not selected at the time of creating the new colored material, you can select it from the Colored Specification field in the table.
    • Details for the following fields are populated automatically on selection of the Color Specification details.
      • Color Specification Code 
      • Color Specification Description 
      • Color Specification Pantone 
      • Color Specification Pantone TC
      • Status
      • Color Specification Tags
      • Image
  4. Active: This checkbox is selected automatically indicating that the new colored material is active and available throughout the  Centric 8 application. To render it inactive and unavailable, de-select the checkbox.
  5. Actions: For information on the edit, copy etc., icons displayed in the Actions column, refer to the Generic Features section.
