On this tab, you can apply calendars to the Hierarchy.
To create a new ${MasterCalendar.Name} from a template
- Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} from ${ProtoCalendar.Name} ...
- In the ${New} from ${ProtoCalendar.Name} dialog box, select the ${ProtoCalendar.Name} you want to associate to the season and click on ${Save}.
- The selected template calendar is saved in the table.
- Click on a ${MasterCalendar.Name} to view activities associated with the selected calendar template. NOTE: One or more activities are created on the Home > Calendar tab.
- The following fields are displayed in the default view:
- Master Calendar: The selected calendar template is displayed in this column
- Description: A brief description of the master calendar
- Status:
- Propogate to New: Select this checkbox if you wish to propagate the selected Master Calendar and its associated activities to any new hierarchy levels that are added later after applying the Calendar.
- Propogate to levels: Displays the list of levels at which the master calendar will be propagated on applying the calendar
- Frozen: This checkbox is automatically selected when you click on the Freeze option in the ${Actions} column, to freeze the master calendar and the activities associated with it. NOTE: If you select Unfreeze from the Options in the ${Actions} column, the Frozen checkbox is automatically de-selected.
To apply a Calendar to one or more Styles
- Create new ${MasterCalendar.Name} (see details in section above)
- From the ${Actions} column, click on the Option icon and select Freeze. The selected ${MasterCalendar.Name} will be frozen and the corresponding Frozen checkbox will be selected.
- From the Option icon in the ${Actions} column, select Apply Calendar.
- From the Apply Calendar dialog box, select one or more Styles and click on ${Save}. The selected ${MasterCalendar.Name} will be applied to the selected Styles.
