How to create a new ${Factory.Name}

1. In the Factory column, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${Factory.Name}. Enter the factory name.
2. You can update information in the ${Factory.Name} table.
   

NOTE: The editable fields are indicated with a small grey triangle displayed in the bottom right corner of the cell.

The following attributes are displayed in the default view:

• Factory: The name of the factory specified at the time of defining the factory
• ID: Click anywhere within the cell and enter a unique identification number for the factory
• State: By default, the factory is in a Pending state. The state can be changed to Approved (to approve the factory and make it available for selection throughout the Centric 8 application) or Inactive (to render it inactive and unavailable).
• Country of Origin: Select a country of origin from the drop-down list. One or more country can be defined on the Sourcing > Setup > Countries tab. 
• Suppliers: From the drop-down list, select one or more Suppliers. The list of suppliers is defined on the Sourcing > Supplier tab.
• Compliant: If this check box is selected, then the respective Factory is in compliant with the defined statutory laws, and vice versa.
• Commission: Displays the commission value in percentage.
• Min Order Amt: Displays the minimum order amount.
• Min Order Surcharge: Displays the minimum order surcharge amount.
• Payment Terms: Displays the terms related to payment.
• Volume Capacity: Displays the capacity of the Factory in volume.
• Lead Time: Displays the lead time of the Factory.
• Initial MOQ: Enter the minimum order quantity
• Re-order MOQ: Enter the minimum quantity for re-order
• Port of Origin: From the drop-down list, select the port of origin.
• Actions: To execute the icons in the ${Actions} column, refer Generic Features.

The newly created ${Factory.Name} displays the State as Pending. You can approve the factory by selecting the Approved option. The state changes to Approved. To deactivate the factory, you can select the Inactive option. The state changes to Inactive.

NOTE: When you select the Blank option, the State clears.

Click on ${Supplier.Plural} to select ${Supplier.Plural}. 

Click on a ${Factory.Name} to view its properties and to create ${Contact.Plural}.
