You can create one or more ${Customer.Plural} on this tab.
How to create a new ${Customer.Name}
- Mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${Customer.Name}.
- In the New Customer dialog box, enter the customer name and click on ${Save}.
- You can also update information in the ${Customer.Name} table.
NOTE: The editable fields are indicated with a grey triangle in the corner of the cell.
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:
- Customer: The customer name details specified at the time of creating a new customer.
- Customer Number: Click anywhere within the cell and enter an alphanumeric number for the customer.
- State: By default, the newly created ${Customer.Name} displays the State as Pending. You can approve the customer by selecting the Approved option. The state changes to Approved. To deactivate the customer, select the Inactive option. The state changes to Inactive.
- Country: From the drop-down list select a country. One or more countries can be defined on the Sourcing > Setup > Countries tab.
- Ship To: From the drop-down list, select a shipping port. One or more shipping ports are defined on the Sourcing > Setup > Shipping Port tab.
- Actions: To execute the icons in the ${Actions} column, refer Generic Features.
NOTE: When you select the Blank option, the State clears.
Click on a ${Customer.Name} to view its properties and to create ${Contact.Plural}.
