On this tab, you can view the properties and inspections related information of the selected Inspection Security Group. The assignment of an appropriate inspection to the quality inspector is performed on the Inspections section.
SECTION: PROPERTIES
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:
- Inspection Security Group: Displays the name of the Inspection Security Group, which can be edited/updated.
- Description: Displays a brief description of the Inspection Security Group.
SECTION: INSPECTIONS
How to create a New Inspection
- From the Inspection column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Inspection.
- In the General Info tab, enter details for the following fields:
- Inspection: Enter a name for the new Inspection.
- Template: From the drop-down list, select a template. One or more inspection templates can be set up on the Inspection > Setup > Templates tab.
- Style: From the drop-down list, select an existing Style. One or more Styles are created on the Collection hierarchy.
- Supplier: From the drop-down list, select an existing Supplier. One or more Suppliers are created on the Sourcing > Supplier tab.
- Sampling Plan: From the drop-down list, select a Sampling Plan. One or more Sampling Plans can be set up on the Home > Inspection > Setup > Sampling Plans tab.
- Year: From the drop-down list, select the year details.
- Month: From the drop-down list, select the month details. The Month and Year details are created on the Setup > Configuration > Enumeration tab.
- Reference Type: From the drop-down list, select the reference type as Shipment or Order.
- Click on Next to select Orders or Shipments. The Select Orders or Shipments tab is displayed.
NOTE: Shipments or Orders information will be displayed only if the selected Supplier has the associated information. - In the Select Orders or Shipments tab, select the check boxes corresponding to the required Orders or Shipments.
- Click on Finish. The new inspection details are created and displayed in the Draft state.
- To save this inspection as a template, in the Actions column, click on Save as Template icon.
- To change the state of Inspection from Draft to Planned, click on the State drop-down list, and then select Start.
NOTE: Once the state of the Inspection has been changed from Draft to Planned, then it cannot be changed back to the Draft state.
How to create New Inspections from Styles
- From the Inspection column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Inspections from Styles. The New Inspections from Styles dialog box is displayed.
- In the New Inspections from Styles dialog box, enter details for the following fields:
- Inspection: Enter a name for the new Inspection.
- Template: From the drop-down list, select a template.
- Styles: From the drop-down list, select an existing Styles.
- Sampling Plan: From the drop-down list, select a Sampling Plan.
- Year: From the drop-down list, select the year details.
- Month: From the drop-down list, select the month details.
- Click on Save. The new inspection details are created and displayed in the Draft mode.
NOTE: If users have selected only one Style, then a new Inspection is created with the Inspection name is suffixed with the numerical value '1'. If users have selected two Styles, then two new individual Inspections are created. For example, INSPECTION_NAME 1 and INSPECTION_NAME 2. Based on the number of selected Styles, the Inspection name is sequentially suffixed with the numerical values.
How to create New Inspections from Orders
- From the Inspection column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Inspections from Orders. The New Inspections from Orders dialog box is displayed.
- In the New Inspections from Orders dialog box, enter details for the following fields:
- Inspection: Enter a name for the new Inspection.
- Template: From the drop-down list, select a template.
- Orders: From the drop-down list, select an existing Orders.
- Sampling Plan: From the drop-down list, select a Sampling Plan.
- Aggregate Level: From the drop-down list, select an Aggregate Level. The available aggregate levels are Supplier PO, PO, Order, and Colorway.
- Year: From the drop-down list, select the year details.
- Month: From the drop-down list, select the month details.
- Click on Save. The new inspection details are created and displayed in the Draft mode.

How to create New Inspections from Shipments
- From the Inspection column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Inspections from Shipments. The New Inspections from Shipments dialog box is displayed.

- Inspection: Enter a name for the new Inspection.
- Template: From the drop-down list, select a template.
- Shipments: From the drop-down list, select an existing Shipments.
- Sampling Plan: From the drop-down list, select a Sampling Plan.
- Aggregate Level: From the drop-down list, select an Aggregate Level. The available aggregate levels are Supplier, PO, Order, and Shipment.
- Year: From the drop-down list, select the year details.
- Month: From the drop-down list, select the month details.
- Click on Save. The new inspection details are created and displayed in the Draft mode.

How to move Inspections from the "Home > Inspection > Inspections" tab
- From the Inspection column, mouse-over Actions, and then select Move Inspections from. The Move Inspections from dialog box is displayed.
- In the Move Inspections from dialog box, select the check boxes corresponding to the required Inspections.
- Click on Save. The selected Inspections are moved from the Home > Inspection > Inspections tab.
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:
- Inspection: Displays the name of the Inspection which can be edited/updated. Click on the Inspection name to view its properties and additional information related to the inspection activities.
- State: Displays the name of the inspection state which can be edited/updated. The initial state of the inspection is Draft by default. It can be further changed to other states such as Planned, In Progress, Passed, or Failed, while performing the inspection activities.
- Supplier Name: Displays the name of the Supplier.
- Number of Inspection Batches: Displays the number of inspection batches, which are created to conduct the final inspections.
- Style Name: Displays the Style name that is qualified for the inspection.
- Inspections Orders:
- Inspection Order: If the reference type of the created inspection is Order, then this column displays the name of the related inspection order.
- Inspection Shipments:
- Inspection Shipment: If the reference type of the created inspection is Shipment, then this column displays the name of the related inspection shipment.
- Order: Displays the Order name of the related Shipment.
- Parent: Displays the Shipment name of the related Supplier PO.
- Parent: Displays the Supplier PO name of the related order.
- Actual Inspection Qty: Displays the actual inspection quantity of the product which can be edited/updated.
- Sampling Plan: Displays the selected sampling plan to conduct the final inspections.
- Inspector: Displays the name of the assigned Quality Inspector who has planned to conduct the final inspections.
- Inspection Security Group: Displays the name of the selected Inspection Security Group which can be selected/cleared.
- Colorways: Displays the name of the applicable Colorways which can be selected/cleared.
- Sizes: Displays the list of applicable sizes of the related Style which can be selected/cleared.
- Actions: This column provides the Delete option to delete the Inspection. For more information, refer to Generic Features.
NOTE: The editable fields are displayed with a grey triangle in the lower-right corner of the cell.
NOTE: The commented fields are displayed with a red triangle in the upper-right corner of the cell.
NOTE: The blank cell option initiates no action.
