On this tab, you can add a new batch section samples to perform the inspection activities. The target value of various sizes, along with inspection tolerance values are available for the batch section samples. Quality Inspectors perform the measurement of the samples and then enter the respective values in the Measured Value column.

NOTE: This tab is only available for performing the measurements kind of inspection.

How to add a New Batch Section Sample

1. From the Inspection Size Chart column, mouse-over Actions, and then select New Batch Section Sample.
2. In the New Batch Section Sample dialog box, enter details for the following fields:
   • Batch Section Sample: Enter a name for the batch section sample. For example, Batch Section Sample 1, Batch Section Sample 2, and so on.
   • Colorway: From the drop-down list, select an appropriate colorway.
   • Size: From the drop-down list, select the applicable size.
3. Click on Save. An appropriate Insection Size Charts are added to this table, based on the number of available dimensions.

The following attributes are displayed in the Default view:

• Inspection Size Chart: Displays the size chart name, that is selected for the inspection.
• Batch Section Sample: Displays the name of the batch section sample.
• Colorway: Displays the colorway name of the batch section sample.
• Size: Displays the size name of the batch section sample.
• Inspection Size Chart Dimension: Displays the dimension name of the batch section sample.
• Measured Value: This is the only editable column present in this table, to enter the measured value of the batch section sample.
• Inspection Tolerance (+): Displays the positive inspection tolerance value of the batch section sample.
• Inspection Tolerance (-): Displays the negative inspection tolerance value of the batch section sample.
• Target Value: Displays the target value of the batch section sample.
• Deviation: Displays the differences exist between a measured value and a target value.
• Out of Tolerance: This check box is selected, only if the condition Measured value > (Target Value + Inspection Tolerance (+/-)) is satisfied.

NOTE: The blank cell option initiates no action.

NOTE: The editable fields are displayed with a grey triangle in the lower-right corner of the cell.
