On this tab, you can edit the Collection - Properties and also define the next level of Hierarchy, which is ${Style.Plural}.
All the fields in the Properties section are editable except the following two fields:
- Number of Styles
- Number of Colorways
NOTE: The editable fields are indicated with a grey triangle in the right hand corner of the cell.
On this tab, in the ${Style.Plural} section, you can either:
- Create a new ${Style.Name}
- Create a ${Style.Name} from existing ${Style.Name} details
- Move ${Style.Plural} from a different hierarchy level
How to create a new ${Style.Name}
In the ${Style.Plural} table, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} ${Style.Name}.
- The Style Type field in the ${New} ${Style.Name} dialog box, is a mandatory field.
NOTE: One or more Style Types are created on the Setup > Configuration > Type Configuration > Style Types.
Enter the details in the ${New} ${Style.Name} dialog box and click on ${Save}. The new style is created and displayed in the Styles table.
The following attributes are displayed in the default view:
- Style: This column lists all the available Styles
- Code: The alpha numeric code for a particular Style
- Description: An appropriate description of the Style
Style Type: The Style Type is associated with the Style at the time of creating the Style. Note that Style Types are created on the Setup > Configuration > Type Configuration tab. - Theme: One ore more Themes are created on the Home > Styles > Theme tab using the New Theme From Style option. The Themes created on the Themes tab can be viewed here.
- Product Structure: One or more product structures can be defined on the Setup > Material > Product Structure tab. Thee product structures associated with the selected style are available in this column for selection.
- Tool: This attribute is defined on the Setup > Configuration > Type Configuration tab. On selecting the product structure the associated tool is displayed. If no tool is associated with the selected product structure, then this column is blank.
- Development Type: This attribute type is defined on the Setup > Configuration > Enumerations tab under the Enumeration type "DevtType"
- Active: The checkbox in this column is selected automatically indicating that the corresponding Style is active and available within the Centric 8 application. To make the Style inactive, de-select the checkbox corresponding to the required Style.
- Carry Over:
- Size Range: The Size Range is defined on the Home > Specification > Size Rage tab and can be selected on this tab. If the Size Range is two-dimensional, then a grid will display with the first dimension across the top and the second dimension down the left side.
- Sizes: The Sizes are defined on the Home > Specification > Size Chart tab and can only be viewed on this tab.
- Default Size: The default size is defined at the time of defining the size range. Editing details in the Size Range attribute will also change the default size range.
- Default Color: Click anywhere within the cell to select the default color from the drop-down list.
- Image: This cell is editable. Click anywhere in the cell and select the Browse Images link to view the Browse Images dialog box and select an image. The selected image is displayed in the cell within the Images column.
The following links are available when you click on the Image.
- Browse Images: Click on this link to select another image
- Refresh Thumbnail: To refresh the image, click on this link
- Remove (Image): Click on this link to remove an existing image
- Tags (Image): To select one or more tags for the images, click on this link
NOTE: The above links are available ONLY when an image is displayed in the Images column.
How to create a new ${Style.Name} from existing ${Style.Plural} details
- In the ${Style.Plural} table, mouse-over ${Actions} and select ${New} from ${Style.Name}.
- In the ${New} from ${Style.Name} page, select the ${Style.Plural} by selecting the checkbox corresponding to it . Click on ${Save} to open the ${New} from ${Style.Name} dialog box. Enter the ${Style.Name} related details. Drill down the ${DataSheet.Plural} and General Data fields and select the ${DataSheet.Plural} and General Data you want to copy from the existing ${Style.Name}.
- Click on Finish.
You can also move one or more ${Style.Plural} from one hierarchy level (either Brand, Department or Collection) to another hierarchy level.
How to move one or more ${Style.Plural} from a different Hierarchy
- In the ${Style.Plural} table, mouse-over ${Actions} and select Move ${Style.Plural} from.
- In the Move ${Style.Plural} from dialog box, in the required Hierarchy column i.e. either Brand, Department or Collection, click on (All). From the drop-down menu, select one or more items and click anywhere outside the table.
- The selected hierarchy items will be displayed in the Move ${Style.Plural} from dialog box. Select the checkbox corresponding to the ${Style.Name} and click on $(Save).
- The selected hierarchy item has now moved to the current Collection and will be displayed in the ${Style.Plural} table.
NOTE: Most of the attributes can be edited in the ${Style.Plural} table. The editable fields are indicated with a grey triangle in the corner of the cell. The ${Active} checkbox is automatically selected for the Styles indicating that the Styles are available in the Centric 8 application. De-select a checkbox corresponding to the required Style to make it inactive.
How to select ${ProductSize.Plural}
- To select ${ProductSize.Plural} for the ${Style.Name}, in the ${ProductSize.Plural} column, click on the (All) cell. From the drop-down menu, select the ${ProductSize.Plural}.
NOTE: Sizes are defined on the Home > Specification > Sizes tab.
To upload an image and execute the icons in the ${Actions} column refer Generic Features.
To view the Size Chart Properties of a ${Style.Name}, click on a ${Style.Name}.
