A ${StyleType.Name} is a set of pre-defined properties that can be assigned to a Style at the time of creating a new Style in Centric 8.
 
On this tab, ${User.Plural} can create one or more ${StyleType.Name} and assign various ${ConfigurableAttribute.Plural} such as Color, Size etc. It is important to create one or more ${StyleType.Name} before creating a Style. The Style types created on this tab are used at the time of creating one or more Styles on the Home > Seasons > Hierarchy tab.

The ${StyleType.Name} consists of the following two sub-tabs:

• Style Type Attributes: Used to define one or more style type and corresponding attributes
  
• Style Type Data Sheets: Used to select one or more Data Sheets

How to create a ${StyleType.Name} and define the ${ConfigurableAttribute.Plural}

1. In the Style Type column, mouse-over  ${Actions} and select ${New} ${StyleType.Name}.
2. In the ${New} ${StyleType.Name} dialog box, enter the ${StyleType.Name} and click on ${Save}. 

The new style will be created and displayed in the table in yellow color indicating that the new style is available for use.

NOTE: To reflect changes in the C8 application, from the main menu bar, select Actions > ${UpdateConfiguration}.

Specify details for the following fields:

• ${Active}: Selecting this checkbox will render the style type active and available in the C8 application.
  
• Has Color: Selecting this checkbox determines that the defined style type uses the color attribute. 
• Has Size:Selecting this checkbox determines that the defined style type uses the size attribute.
• Is Assortment: Selecting this checkbox specifies that it is an assortment product
• In Assortment: Selecting this attribute specifies that will include an assortment product in the BOM
• Auto Create SKU: Selecting this checkbox will generate SKU numbers automatically. However, this checkbox is available for selection only when neither the Has Color or the Has Size attributes are not selected.
• Validate MCMaterialColors: Selecting this attribute checkbox will indicate that a Product of this style type can be released to the customer without adding Material Color.
• Brands, Features, Functions: Selecting one or all of these checkboxes will display the Product Symbol tab details for the corresponding style type on the Style Hierarchy tab.
• ${Actions}: Various icons such as Edit, Delete etc are displayed in the ${Actions} column. To apply the ${StyleType.Name} ${ConfigurableAttribute.Plural} to the old existing styles, click on the Apply to Old ${Style.Plural} link.

NOTE1:. If the Has Color and/or Has Size attributes checkboxes are selected, then the Auto Create SKU attribute checkbox is disabled and unavailable for selection since the Has Color and Has Size attributes will drive the SKU creation.
