This tab is used to create a new Canvas. It provides the properties of the selected Artwork for a particular Style. You can edit details for the attributes that are editable.
It consists of the following three sections:
- Breadcrumbs trail: In the site-level breadcrumbs trail, the options related to Revisions and Actions are displayed.
- TDS properties: This tab displays the properties of the selected Artwork.
- Canvas: This section from the TDS tab is used to create a new Canvas for a particular Style.
The Revision drop-down list on the breadcrumbs trail allow users to maintain the revisions of the selected Artwork.
The following options are displayed in the Revision drop-down list:
- Latest Revision
- Sample Approved Revision
- Previous Revision
- Next Revision
- View All Revisions
The Actions drop-down list on the breadcrumbs trail allow users to execute the following options for the selected Artwork in Draft state:
- Revise
- Freeze
- Approve
- Abandon
- Purge Revisions
- Purge and Reset Revisions
Once the state is changed to Approved, the Actions drop-down list displays the following options:
- Reopen
- Purge Revisions
- Purge and Reset Revisions
The following attributes are displayed in the Default view of TDS properties section:
- In a row under the TDS properties section, the following attributes are displayed:
- Style name
- Artwork name
- State of the Artwork with the time stamp details
- Artwork: The Artwork name which can be edited/updated.
- Description: A brief description of the Artwork which can be edited/updated.
- Subtype Enum: The subtype enumeration values of the enumeration ArtworkType can be selected.
- Colorways: The applicable Colorways can be selected for the related Artwork.
SECTION: CANVAS
The Canvas is available throughout Centric 8 Data Sheets and Themes. The Canvas section is used to add images, sketches, annotate, and add notes to a image. Also, this section provide details of the Artwork and images associated with it.
It consists of the following subsections:
- Table toolbar to save, edit, update, maintain, and delete the canvas.
- Canvas preview on the left pane to provide the preview of the canvas.
- Canvas area and Add Note subsections on the middle pane to create the canvas and add notes to the canvas respectively.
- Item Images and My Uploads subsections on the right pane to drag-and-drop the required images to the canvas to use.
or - Image/borders & fills/text related subsections on the right pane to edit and update the images.
How to create a new Canvas
- In the Canvas section, click on Create a new Canvas button or click on the Edit button present on the table toolbar. A new canvas area and add note subsections are displayed in the middle pane.
- From the Item Images or My Uploads subsection, drag-and-drop the required image to the canvas area to use.
- Edit and update the image using the editor tools such as image, borders & fills, text format, and so on from the right pane.
- Use the following icons present on the table toolbar to maintain the canvas:
- Click on Save & Finish button to save and complete the creation of canvas.
- Click on Save and Continue icon to save the image and continue to update the canvas.
- Click on Cancel to exit from the canvas without saving the changes made to the canvas.
- Click on Add page icon to add additional pages to the canvas (up to maximum of 30 pages can be added to an individual canvas).
- Click on Copy page icon to create a copy of an existing page (up to maximum of 30 pages can be copied and added to an individual canvas).
- Use the image related editor tools such as Undo, Redo, Delete, Select, Line, Curve, Rectangle, Ellipse, and so on available on the table toolbar to update the image.
- From the Zoom drop-down list, select an appropriate zoom% value for clear visibility of the image.
- To add notes to the image:
- In the middle pane of the canvas, in the Artwork area, click on Add Note. A text box is displayed.
- In the text box area, enter the required note details, and then click on Save and Continue icon. The note details are saved with the relevant user name and the time stamp details.
- To delete a note, mouse-over the required note, and then click on the Delete icon displayed in the upper-right corner of the note; the related note details are deleted.
- To delete a page from the canvas preview subsection, mouse-over the relevant page, and then click on the Delete page icon displayed in the upper-right corner of the page.
NOTE: The editable fields are displayed with a grey triangle in the lower-right corner of the cell.
NOTE: In the left pane of the canvas, if a page contains any annotate or notes added to it, then the related page preview is displayed with a red triangle in the upper-right corner of the cell.
