On this tab, you can view the Technical Data Sheets for the selected ${ApparelBOM.Name}. You can add the BOM details including dividers, new placements, copy placements from another BOM, add placements from ${Material.Plural}, or add special placements based on a selected ${Material.Name} type.

This tab has been enhanced in Centric 8 version 6.0 to include a new Phase and State headers. They are now more explicit and indicate the progress of work clearly. Revisions are accessible but moved out of the way so that user have more space dedicated to work on datasheets.

This tab provides details of the Artwork and images associated with the artwork.

SECTION: CANVAS

  1. To edit the canvas, click anywhere within the Canvas and select Edit Canvas.
  2. The Canvas Editor will be displayed allowing users to edit the canvas using the various editing tools in the Editor. 

To view a particular revision, click on the Revisions button in the toolbar. From the Click to select a new Revision to display dialog box, select a revision to be displayed.

The Actions drop-down menu in the toolbar allows users to do the following with the selected Artwork:

SECTION: PLACEMENTS

In this section, you can add placements to the selected ${MaterialBOM.Name}. 

You can create one or more ${MaterialBOM.Name}, using the following options on the Actions mouse-over: 

How to create New of ${Material.Name}

  1. In the Placement table, mouse over ${Actions} and select ${New} of ${Material.Name}
  2. Enter the details in the table.
    NOTE: The editable cells are indicated by a grey triangle displayed n the corner of the cell.
  3. To execute the icons in the ${Actions} column, click on the "Unlink" icon to unlink the Placement from the ${MaterialBOM.Name}. 
  4. Alternatively, click on the "Relink" icon to re-link the Placement to the ${MaterialBOM.Name}.
  5. Click on "Update Unit Cost, UOM from Product" icon to update the Unit Cost and Unit of Measurement. 
  6. Click on the "Up" and "Down" arrow icons to move the position of the Placement.

 SECTION: MULTI-LEVEL PLACEMENTS

In this section, you can add multi-level placements to the selected ${MaterialBOM.Name}. 

You can create one or more ${MaterialBOM.Name}, using the following options on the Actions mouse-over: 

How to create New of ${Material.Name}

  1. In the Placement table, mouse over ${Actions} and select ${New} of ${Material.Name}
  2. Enter the details in the table.

SECTION: TRACKING PLACEMENTS

For each tracking placement, you can set the status, select a sample, and add comments on the selected ${MaterialBOM.Name}.

How to Track Placements

  1. Mouse-over ${Actions} and select Select Placements
  2. In the Select Placement dialog box, select one or more Placements and click on ${Save}.
  3. The selected placements will be displayed 
  4. To execute the icons in the ${Actions} column refer Generic Features.
  5. It is possible to include comments for certain attributes. To add/edit comments, click anywhere within the cell  and select ${Edit} Comment. Enter comments in the Comments box. Users can use the editing tools within the Comments box to edit the comments.
    NOTE: On adding comments to an attribute cell, a red triangle is displayed in the top corner of the cell.

SECTION: TRACKING COMMENTS

You can add one or more comments in this section which is displayed along with the details of the user (logged in user) who has created the comments and the time at which it was created.

To create a comment, click on the New Comment icon. In the New Comment box, enter comment details and click on Save.
